Customized programs are the opportunity to create your own adventure according your needs, preferences and activities. These are focused to universities, colleges, schools, social organizations, groups of friends or families that want to live and Outward Bound experience. 

Ecuador is a unique place in the world for Outward Bound experiences; we can climb glaciered mountains and within few hours hike down to the oriental slopes towards the jungle basin, getting ready to paddle on a raft.  This geographic situation allows us to practice many adventure activities in an amazing natural environment and with good weather all year around.   Outward Bound experiences are based on adventures such as climbing, hiking, mountaineering, rafting, kayaking, camping at active volcanic areas, scuba diving at Galapagos, mountain biking, jungle hikes, rappelling, work at indigenous communities, and more.

How to Customize an Outward Bound Ecuador program?

OBE Ecuador Program Director, Carolina Lanas, will attend your request and work with you to create an Outward Bound experience according to your needs.  

A customized course has the flexibility to be created in the following terms:

- Dates and trip lengths according to client needs (Ecuador weather allows to work all year).
- Combination of activities (Rafting, Kayaking, mountaineering, climbing, scuba diving, mountain biking, camping, hiking in many areas, Galapagos explorations, high and low rope courses, horseback riding, rappelling.
- Possibility for certifications such as: WFA (Wilderness First Aid), PADI (Scuba Diving), Kayaking and Rafting level I, camping and hiking skills, Mountaineering Level I, Leave no trace.
- Home Stays at indigenous communities.
- English or Spanish speaking instructors.


Prices and other important information:

Outward Bound programs prices vary depending on the length of the course, activities involved, and number of participants.  In order to run an OB program we need a minimum of 10 participants.  Average price per participant, per day is $ 130 usd.  Just for programs in the Galapagos Islands including Scuba diving the price per day and participant is $ 180.  These prices are estimated and should be considered as referential.
