The Multi-element adventure in Ecuador is a great opportunity for nature lovers.  We will start at the north Andean zone. Then our journey will descend towards the Amazon jungle with a hike through the Oyacachi route and then continue with a white water rafting with class 3 and 4 rapids. A great opportunity to enjoy the natural biodiversity that Ecuadorian Andes and Amazon has.

Course description

Receive a WFA certification while you live a personal development among the Andes and the Amazon jungle.   Enjoy activities such as horseback riding, climbing, mountain biking and community service. Along the way, you will learn about rainforest biodiversity, backpacking skills, team-building skills, and personal work. Meet the Ecuadorian magical rapids on a amazing rafting experience.

Part 1

• Four days intensive Wilderness First Aid at OB Ecuador School (San Pablo de Lago, Highlands)

Part 2

• Camping at Imbabura´s base and prepare for a summit attempt
• Mountain climbing up to 13.000 ft, Imbabura
• Community Service with many intercultural activities
• Horseback riding from the Indigenous community to the OBE School
• Mountain bike ride through the Andes corridor towards the Oriental slopes

Part 3

• Camping at Oyacachi with natural hot springs, we will start our hike down to the jungle
• Two days hiking through the Andean rainforest, following the Oyacachi River on its way down to the Amazon
• Descend on a two days white water rafting on class 3 and 4 rapids
• Amazing camping at beautiful and remote rainforests

Part 4

• Flight back home from Quito
